Christa Cuison

Associate Clinical Social Worker - ACSW

Hi, I’m Christa, an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) who values authenticity, compassion, and creating a genuine connection with my clients. I earned a dual Master of Social Work and Master of Public Health (MSW/MPH) from San Diego State University and am currently a third year Naturopathic Medical Student (ND) at Bastyr University.

I identify as a highly sensitive person (HSP) and Filipino-American (she/her). I bring a culturally informed and inclusive perspective, striving to meet every client where they are in their journey. I am deeply committed to ensuring you feel truly seen, heard, and understood in our work together. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where healing can begin and where we can collaboratively set meaningful, achievable objectives tailored to your needs. By incorporating SMART goals, I help clients build tangible progress while honoring their unique pace and experiences. My mission is to provide emotional support that allows you to feel valued and valid. I believe helping patients feel seen, heard and safe is where true healing begins.

As a future Naturopathic Doctor, I aim to bridge the gap between traditional and holistic mental health care. I understand how determinants of health including social, economic, physical environment, hydration, sleep and stress all affect your quality of life. I believe in using interventions that are patient-centered and unique to each individual’s needs including from Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My goal is to help you build resilience, strength, stress management and healthy coping mechanisms through all of life’s seasons.

Whether you’re navigating challenges, seeking clarity, or simply looking for a space to be yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we can explore ways to foster growth, resilience, and self-compassion. Let’s take the first step toward your healing journey together.
