Lynette Mercado

Associate Professional Clinical Counselor

Hello, my name is Lynette Mercado. I have been working in the mental health field for over 21 years and am versified in multicultural aspects of today's society. I have the solution-focused mindset to motivate and inspire you. My goal is to establish a trusting, meaningful, and collaborative relationship with you to help enhance your self-perception, self-confidence, and overall mental wellbeing. My hope is for you to experience sustainable joy and satisfaction while you live your best life.

My approach includes various modalities based on your needs, preferences, and cultural norms. I work with individuals, couples, and families on various issues such as anxiety, depression, addiction, behavioral, self-esteem, self-harm, grief, career, life transitions, and many more.

I am a boy mom to two adolescents ages 17 and 15. When I have free time, I love to focus on my small ETSY shop selling therapeutic decks that helps others become their best and true authentic self. I enjoy being a full-time therapist, evening adjunct professor at Fresno State University and a PhD student currently working on my dissertation.

Life is a journey with lots of ups and downs of experiences. I hope you have more moments of happiness and joy more than anything. If not, let’s start creating it together as you truly deserve it!! I look forward to meeting you soon!
