Manaal Sayed
Associate Clinical Social Worker - ACSW
Hi, I’m Manaal Sayed, a trilingual (English/Urdu/Hindi) associate therapist specializing in working with teens, young adults, and parents. I earned my Masters in Social Work from USC in 2023, with a specialization in Children, Youth and Families, and my Bachelors from UCLA in Psychobiology in 2021. I am dedicated to supporting individuals and families through life’s most challenging moments, offering a compassionate, safe space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
I believe that each person has unique strengths that, when uncovered and nurtured, lead to profound personal growth and healthier relationships. My approach is designed to meet your specific needs and respect your individual journey, honoring both your cultural background and your goals.
My training and experience in inpatient hospital settings has honed my ability to work with individuals and families facing complex challenges, providing tailored support during high-pressure times. In addition, my work in school settings with children, parents, and couples has deepened my understanding of the unique challenges that come with family life, child development, and relationship dynamics.
I have experience helping clients navigate chronic medical diagnoses, depression, anxiety, self harm, and complex family dynamics. I use proven therapeutic approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques to help clients find practical solutions and lasting change. If you’re seeking a therapist who will listen deeply, respect your experiences and input, and work with you to create real, lasting change, I’m here to help.
