Moritha Alli
Associate Social Worker - ASW
Hi, I’m Moritha Alli, an Associate Social Worker (ASW), and I moved to the United States from Liberia, West Africa, in 2018 to pursue my dream of becoming a therapist. I’m fluent in English and work with children, teens, young adults, and seniors using an eclectic approach tailored to each individual’s unique needs. My goal is to provide a safe space for clients to explore their traumas, distressing thoughts, and emotions.
With over 5 years of experience in various settings and with diverse populations, I’ve worked with both long-term and brief interventions. My training includes helping teens with trauma, anxiety, depression, self-harming behaviors, grief and loss, and life stressors. I also served as a crisis therapist on the crisis line for Kern County, gaining valuable experience in high-pressure situations.
I earned my Master of Social Work from Widener University (WU) in Pennsylvania and my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Cuttington University (CU) in Liberia. I’m dedicated to supporting my clients on their journey to healing and growth.
